Hello, my name is Jess, and I have a profound passion for animals of all kinds. EXPIERENCE:
I have been engaged in disability support for over a year and a half, during which I have had the privilege of working with a diverse array of clients. My experience encompasses individuals facing various disabilities and mental health challenges, including Down syndrome, schizophrenia, autism, obsessive-compulsive disorder, acquired brain injuries, as well as severe depression and self-harm. In my role, I have provided essential personal care services, such as assisting with showering, dressing, and toileting, in addition to specialized care for clients with tracheostomies. This hands-on experience has deepened my understanding of the unique needs of each individual, allowing me to tailor my support to foster their well-being and independence. My passion for support work is driven by a genuine desire to help clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. I pride myself on being a compassionate and patient individual, qualities that I believe are essential in this field.
